  • My Co-

I am so blessed to work with the best people ever! We have had a different person show up at our door every day since my surgery with food! And, it is STILL COMING!! AND - my friend Tammy brought over a sweet card signed by everyone with a $75 Gift Card to Barnes and Noble!! They know how much I enjoy reading...

I have just been so moved by the generosity of everyone... I sent Dan up to my work today to pick up my work laptop and return some of the dishes. I gave him Thank You cards to give to everyone, but I feel like I should do more!! I am thinking about baking a cake or a breakfast casserole for Dan to take up there for everyone once I feel up to cooking..

Check out how I have been eating lately!

Friday - Beef Stroganoff, corn on the cob, veggie tray and Choc Chip cookies
Saturday - Sliced Brisket, Green Beans, Rice, Rolls and Brownies
    Sunday - Pizza!
Monday - King Ranch Chicken Casserole and Salad
Tuesday - Lasagna, Salad, Garlic Bread
Wednesday - Garlic Parmesan Chicken, angel hair pasta, and more brownies!
Today - Tammy's day - We decided to wait on more food since we have so much here to eat!
Tomorrow - The Senior Pastor's wife is bringing something.... Not sure what....

Are these folks great, or what?? I am so lucky....Any suggestions on what I can do to show my gratitude?

Ok, guess I hit a button before I finished my topic title..... Should say, "My Co-Workers Rock!" Can't edit the topic title....

Yes, you are blessed. Sounds like they are a great group. I wouldn't do anything now but when you go back to work I would give each one of them a hug and again tell them how much it meant to you. I think if you send food at this time they might think you are well enought to do it on your own and burst the fun they are having planning your meals.

Yes you truly are blessed, and you are a wonderful person to have such great friends that love you so much . How are you doing? Feeling better? Well, I wish you a speedy recovery. I think the girls are right about how to show your gratitude. Relax and heal.
Have you made time to listen to the birds today........

I've Notice It's The Co-workers That Come Thru For A Person More Than Their Family Sometimes!

Glad They're There For You. Glad Your Feeling Better. You Up For A Party Later? Gotta At Least Wait Till Noon! Lol

Lauren, so happy for you. Nice when people come through for you when you need them. Brought my dad and his sister to live with us for a while. It was tough, both were pretty much confined to bed. My dad could only move one arm. Taking care of them and three young children was truly difficult. Neighbors came by with dinners or treats. It was so nice for folks to have an appreciation for what you are going through.

How are you feeling? My biggest fear after the hysterectomy was having to sneeze! Didn't want to pop my stitches. Laughing was difficult too.

I am feeling a little better, still real sore.. Guess that is to be expected for a while though...
