Ever heard of a Bento Box?

since it's that time of year again (back to school) for some, i ran acrossed this while looking for lunch ideas.

Wow, I'm curious!

I'm going to Target today and plan on checking that out. I've only seen a "bento box" at Japanese restaurants. I'm wondering if its promoting smaller portions for the kids.

No I think it more going green stuff so maybe we can learn to have less trash for the kid's to toss away.

No, I have never heard of them before today. So I went to the website and was pleasantly surprised about the whole notion. I will be happy to hear more about them, where to find them ect. Thanks!

Yep, she was!

These are SO cute! The site is awesome! These would be perfect for that picky lunch eater... IF my kids had been so picky, I'd have done these!! Lucky for me, they ate whatever was put in front of them (almost).

If I had to take lunch to work, these would be awesome for portion control!! I saw one girl who filled her bento box for her at-home lunch!

My DH is a retired marine engineer, and years ago brought me a bento box, he told me it was a lunch box, but I thought it would make a better small jewelry box for my Christmas pins, ear rings, etc. But those cute little lunches, almost make me want to dump out my jewelry box and take a bento lunch.

DS1 is really into these. I want to get the egg molds but can't find them anywhere. Last time I was in Chicago's china town I got a dragonfly cutter for veggies but haven't used it yet. Now I'm going to have to dig it out and try it.
