Don't see a dinner thread yet, so here we go. I wish I could post that we are having a super delicious gourmet dinner, but we are not. LOL
Leftovers : meatsauce, pasta, green salad, ciabatta rolls

Does anyone remember the store bought pot pies???

Well, I sent DH to store Saturday to buy some pop that was on sale and he came home with pop and chicken pot pies!

We are having pot pies, mac & cheese and apple sauce! YUMMY!

GS is here , staying overnight, so for supper grilling some chicken breasts, mac and cheese, sliced fresh from the garden tomatoes that are so good, then I have some watermelon and grapes for later if we get hungry before bed.

remember those store bought pot pies, LOL, just take a look in my freezer, there are several there. SO likes those chicken pot pies. I really don't like them, don't eat them.

We're grilling a flank steak... and having salad, of couse. I'm gonna turn into lettuce!

Bavarian sausage/black eyed peas, sweet red cabbage and braised green cabbage with bacon and dijon, and cornbread.

I am starting with a bottle of wine as an appetizer,main course and dessert...Any Questions? LOL! If there is any left I will also have it for a snack. After the storm hits tomorrow morning , I will probably be without power and that will help me sleep through the heat.

We already have a weather alert for south central texas. With concerns about flooding in the Austin area Tuesday afternoon, if Austin gets rain, so will we. We are only about 45 miles south of Austin
