Good morning!! We are supposed to have hot as he** temps today--heat index to 108! However, weekend will be great-mid 80's during the day and mid 60's at night...How is everyone this morning?

Hi nommie and all my other ck friends
We are going on day number 5 of temps above 100° which means we will be staying inside. The kids just bought some new paints and some embroidery thread for friendship bracelets, so that should keep them busy for a while. Other than that I need to color my hair today and I have my GS service meeting tonight. I hope everyone has a fantastic day

Pretty much DDSS. Maid is coming to clean today, so I will pretty much stay out of her way, meaning I will leave the house and go shopping, lunch etc. LOL Hope everybody has a good day.Comment

HOT here too!!
Babe's taking the kittens to the vet for their last check-up after neutering surgery. We've let them out and Peaches the boxer is enthralled!! There's a LOT of chasing and running going on... magazines flying off tables, glasses toppled over... but no blood... unless you count one kitty on top of the chair trying to "comb" Babe's hair and bald scalp w/ her claws last night!!
We won't leave them alone together if we go out yet, but I'm glad to see Peaches is not trying to eat them or wing them around. In fact, if she can catch them lying down, she'll just rest her big head on them as if it's just too heavy to hold up, while the kitty labors under this hulking head... haha.

98 degrees here again today with the same daily threats of thunderstorms that never come. My dog is so mad at me! Every day I watch the forecast and make her come inside before I go to work because theres a thunderstorm threat, and the thunderstorms never come.Comment
