i have added a picture of torch lake in my profile so you can all see the wonderful color of the water in this lake. if you are ever in michigan and close to traverse cilty, i recommend stopping by so you can see it for yourself.

That looks like a beautiful lake shel. I wish we lived closer to water, lake / beach whatever. Going to the coast is about a 3 hour drive , each way, not very convienent, even the nearest lake is almost one hour.

I ask cause when you look at photos of our pretty lake (Bull Shoals), it's a beautiful blue, but when you're IN it... it's black... but so clear you can see 10 feet under you, which is a kind of a moot point since it's also 300 feet in some places!!

NO HAVEN'T BEEN THERE FOR A CONCERT ON THE SAND BAR. BUT RUMOR HAD IT HE WAS IN HTE AREA AND WAS GOING TO DO A CONCERT AT SHANTY CREEK.

I ask cause when you look at photos of our pretty lake (Bull Shoals), it's a beautiful blue, but when you're IN it... it's black... but so clear you can see 10 feet under you, which is a kind of a moot point since it's also 300 feet in some places!!

IT'S LIKE CLEAR WATER WHEN YOU ARE IN IT. YOU CAN SEE DOWN FOR MANY FEET 15-20' FOR SURE
