Have heard they are great but they don't sell them here. The ones on the internet come in different fabrics and at least three different sizes. Any words of wisdom? I need a shoulder bag with compartments. The one I have now just is divided in two so everything just bounces around. Thanks!

Re: Anyone have an Ameribag?
Mine is tapestry. I bought the nylon one and returned it because I didn't like the fabric. I thought it looked too cheap. I intended to re-order and get the micro fiber. Now I think I've changed my mind. The inside of the strap is peeling away and leaving crap all over my clothes. If LL Bean will honor a return a year or two down the road, then I say go for it. I've had mine for a while but I quit carrying it and now I'm using it again. It's very comfortable to carry and holds a ton. I use the large zippered pocket as a make-up bag. Although I don't get much use out of the smaller pockets on the inside. I say go for it!

Re: Anyone have an Ameribag?
Shumway, LL Bean doesn't put a time limit on anything you buy. It truly is "satisfaction guaranteed." Always bought my kids' backpacks there. If they started to come apart or fray, they just got a new one. DD went to college in Brunswick - just a few miles from Freeport. We bought her an expensive down coat to keep her warm in those cold, damp winters. Well, she never wore it. It was still in the plastic with the tags. When she was about to graduate, she returned it for full price! She didn't like the look of it. That is why I might just order the bag from them. Of course, it is probably cheaper elsewhere online. Thanks for the input.
