  • Help!

Ok, this is probably a very dumb question to some people, but I need it answered!

I'm making bruschetta chicken and the recipe says to chop up tomatoes, olive oil, basil, and "hold for two hours." Does this mean sit it aside? Do I leave it out at room temp, or do I need to refrigerate?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

    Re: Help!

it means to set it aside, I always put mine in the refrigerator. It gives the time for the tomatoes to weep and the flavors to mix.

    hopes that helps

Thanks dragun! That helps a lot!

Atleast I didn't have a ditzy moment where I held it in my arms for two hours. Haha.

If it's just the tomatoes and olive oil you wouldn't even have to refrigerate it.

          The Bruschetta chicken is amazing

            Re: Help!

If you refrigerate it the tomatoes won't have that fresh flavor. Just sit it out on the counter and cover it with a tight lid so as not to let one iota of beautiful aroma escape
