Swing Vote - Movie

DH and I went to see Swing Vote with Kevin Costner last night. It was really a good movie, lots of laughs and a good story line. I would highly recommend it, especially in comparison with the rest of the garbage that's playing now. They don't seem to make movies anymore for people over 21, so many animated films now. Recently had 3 of our grandchildren visiting and took them to "Space Chimps". The matinee cost us $35, I about choked when I found that out. That's too much money. No children's rates, they paid the same as adults. And the movie makers wonder why they're in trouble. But everytime DH and I go to a movie theater, there may be 5 or 6 other customers in there.

Thanks for the review. I really want to see this movie. I love Kevin Costner. I just watched Dances With Wolves recently because I needed a Kevin fix.

Thanks for the review.. I'll get it when it comes out on Netflix. It is awful for it to be that expensive for a matinee.. Just like bowling, it's getting expensive for kids to go out and doing something fun..

DD went to the movies a few nights ago. They raised the price from $6.50 to $8.75.
