In Australia, the Number 1 topping for pizza is eggs. In Chile, the favorite topping is mussels and clams. In the United States, it's pepperoni.


Eggs???? Yak!!!! I'll stick with good ole pepperoni!!!!!!!!!

In Italy, there is a pizza called 'Diavolo' and just as it comes out of the oven, they break an egg onto the center of it. DH loved it. I thought it was disgusting. But then I didn't like their 'Fruite de Mare' (fruit of the sea) with all the tiny octopi and mussels still in the shells either.

My nephew is in the navy and has been stationed in Italy for about six years. He said it was really hard getting used to "real" italian pizza.

We lived there for 3 years in the mid 80's and loved it. Altho I did miss my favourite 'deep dish' style pizza while we were there, now we search out places that have a proper wood-burning pizza oven.

As for pasta and risotto--I still make it the proper Italian way. No Kraft Dinner in this house.

I say yuk too! Lol! It might be good though. Not to hijack, but....I worked for a restaurant once and an Australian gentleman ALWAYS ordered an egg on his hamburger. The thought of it just grossed me out. HeHeHe...

I remember now!!! I it was a glazed donut, with a hamburger, bacon and an egg on it.

Korean foods are sometimes topped with a fried egg as well

You know, Flo, Paula Deen's picture looked pretty, but the combination is yuk! I think Breakfast Pizza is okay, but a fried egg with the runny yolk is kind of hard to picture on a hamburger. I guess I am not very adventurous..LOL!
