in gymnastics, on the news, says they have changed birth dates previously reported (last year) so that they would be eligible (not too young) to participate; and so they have won the overall gold apparently;

They sure look younger than 15 to me... Their bodies show it. Did you see the interview on where and how they train them? They go away to a school and are worked to death, IMO, starting at the age of 3. They only see their parents twice a year. They workout anywhere from 8-10 hours a day at that young age. Disgusting.

Wonder why this isn't being more thoroughly investigated- about the gymnist's? Picture that was in our Vegas newspaper showed a close up of one of the Chinese girls smiling and the caption read that the girl still had her "baby" teeth.

Because the IOC doesn't want to "upset" China. It's sad. I've seen Chinese teams get better scores than they should have gotten, am sure there is more to the story and we might not find out for a couple of years. Remember how long it took to find out about the Salt Lake City Olympic scandals?

We're still steamed over the syncronized diving, the chinese team didn't go in the water at teh same time and they got GREAT scores, another team, not the americans, did a wonderful dive and got mediocre scores.
