  • Question

Was looking at recipes while drinking my morning coffee and saw this recipe that Bean posted by Rachael Ray..at least I think it was anyway. What did Rachael Ray use this on or did she use this as a side to dip tortilla chips on maybe?

      Avocado and Garlic Sour Cream

      Source – Rachael Ray

2 ripe avocados, pitted and spoon flesh from skins
1/2 lemon, juiced (I use lime)
      1 clove garlic
      Salt
      1 cup sour cream

Add all ingredients to a food processor and processing until smooth. Adjust seasoning, then transfer to a small bowl.

        Re: Question

That sounds similar to Ninfa's Avocado Dip (from the restaurant in Houston). I make this all the time and serve it either with tortilla chips or with other sides when making fajitas. I add about 1/2 of a small onion and a little cilantro and process the whole thing.

              Re: Question

I would think that you could use it with a lot of things. Tacos, chicken enchiladas, taco salad, just to name a few.
