    I made those Original Ranch Roasted Potatoes last night..I posted that recipe in tried and true a few days or so ago...anyway..as I said..my hon bought me a cast-iron skillet and I have made them twice using that skillet. Last night..the potatoes were better than the time before that I made them. If you make them...add 1/2 cup crisco to the skillet...I used oil because I forgot to buy the shortening. I let the oil heat up in the cast-iron skillet while my oven was preheating and once the oven was preheated...I put the potatoes in it. These were alot better...thought I would share in case anyone makes them. Still put the oil that is used in the recipe and make sure you cut the potatoes into fourths.
