How can people make light of this tragedy? I really don't think it's funny at all. Hundreds of people have died. If not for all the deaths, I'd think it was be funny.

On a side note... My Dad was born in Centralia, IL.

This came from the Onion, which is a parody publication. I don't think it's real.

The Onion is definitely a "parody news" source! This NEVER happened in Centralia. My DH went through the 1st grade up to high school & his Mother lived there until her death 5 years ago. The only "sweets" factory in town was Hollywood Candy (of which my DMIL worked for 30 years) and a potato chip factory.....no pudding factory, folks.

Well I think we should round up a few volunteers to help clean up that awful mess....I know I can count on all of the CK-ers. God Speed.
If this is true, I am sorry for the deaths.
Otherwise it would be one helluva way to go..LMAO! Volunteers must bring a six pack of spoons to encourage any straggling volunteers to help with the clean-up..lol.
Have you made time to listen to the birds today........
