    Cheese Logs

    2 lbs Velveeta,cubed
    1/2 lb Mild Cheddar, shredded
    1/2 lb Sharp Cheddar, shredded
    1 8-oz pkg Cream Cheese
    Minced Garlic to taste
    Chopped Jalapenos if desired...I desire..lol
    Chile Powder

    DIRECTIONS:
    Soften all of the cheeses, and mix together thoroughly. Form into logs. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove from refrigerator and roll logs in chili powder. Wrap each log in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator. To serve, just slice.... Very good!

        Sounds good, but I think personally I would roll the log in nuts, not chili powder.

          MY DS'S BOSS MADE THIS AND GAVE HIM THE RECIPE, IT'S CLOSE TO YOURS, BUT IT'S MADE INTO A ROLL. WE LOVE IT!!

          Jalapeno Pecan Cheese Roll

          1lb Velveta, Softened
          1 (8oz) Pkg Cream Cheese, Softened
          1 Sm Jar Diced Pimintos, Drained
          1 (4oz) Can Diced Jalapenos, Drained
          2-4 Tbsp Green Onions, Diced
          2-3 Tsp Garlic Powder
          3-4 Tbsp Pecans, Diced
          Worchestershire Sauce (sp?)
          Pecans, Diced

          Spray Some Wax Paper With Oil, Spread Velveta On Wax Paper, Spread Cream Cheese Over Velveta, Sprinkle On Pimintos, Jalapenos, Onions, Pecans, Garlic Powder, Sprinkle With Worchestershire Sauce. Pat Down Some Into Cheeses, Roll Up, Jelly Roll Fashon, Sprinkle With More Pecans.

                I think instead of rolling the cheese log in chili powder or nuts, I would chop up Buddig beef or dried beef real fine, then roll the cheese log in it.
