I've been told by many dog owners that I should give my 5 year old, 90 lb LAB over the counter Clucosamine & Chondroitin. The dose 2 tablets daily. My question is, do I give her both at the same time? Morning meal or evening meal? Or one in each meal. Each owner has a different answer and reason. What would you do?

Re: Dog Pill Question
Glucosamine and Chondroitin actually come together as an all in one pill a lot of places. I know stores like Petsmart sells the stuff so maybe if you go on a pet meds website or just research the internet in general, you can see how much they administer and tell from there. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Re: Dog Pill Question
You guys got me worried, and I guess I should have called the vet first, and I just did. They said it's okay to give her the human stuff. One at each meal... I just figured they wouldn't give me any info over the phone without seeing her first..
Thanks for your info everybody...

Re: Dog Pill Question
If you purchase Pedigree Large Breed food it has Glucosamine and Chondroitin in the dog food. I started using it for our lab Shadow as soon as she was off of puppy food. I figured that way I couldn't give her too much and didn't have to buy it seperatly.
