What pets do you have?

[Sweet Pea]

I have two cats, Chloe and Kitten. They're best of friends and since I'm gone a lot they have each other. I've had dogs and horses in the past, but I've downsized to just the two cats. How about you?

My favorite pet ever was Sassy. She was a tortie and just the sweetest cat you'd ever want to know. She loved to snack on frozen peas and fresh spinach. I taught her to sit and beg. I sometimes miss her very badly. Don't get me wrong, I love all my pets! But Sassy held a special place in my heart.

4 Shelties, Sara, 14 years old, she's the boss, Bella and Jackie, females, and Dusty my male that I am trying so hard to get a CD title on. 1 minature pinscher that I have been taking care of for my son, 1 black cat. We used to have all kinds of pets when the boys were still home, rabbits, snakes, turtles, scorpions, cows, sheep, fish in the acquarium.

I am the proud mom of an 8 yr old Boston Terrier named Rocco... it all depends on my mood and his Without a doubt, my lil man is the love of my life as well as my best friend! Gotta love those lil critters

We have two beautiful cats named Precious and Mocha. I call Mocha "Plumage" because her tail is as wide as her body! She sticks it straight up in the air and I swear she prissies around the house with it!

I love this thread!!! Our sweet girl, Daisy, an American Bulldog, who was DD#1s' dog that came to live w/ us b/c she couldnt have her where she was renting at one point after she graduated from college b/f she bought her home. If I knew how to post a pic, I would.....it is a face you could just kiss, and I do!!!!

So, here is our list of sweet ones:

DD#1 and soon-to-be hubby have Emma, American Bulldog

DD#2 and hubby have Holly, Pitbull, that was left by their home by someone as a puppy and she is a very sweet dog -- I know that they have a bad reputation, but ANY DOG will be mean if you treat them badly or "train" them to be mean.

DD#3 and her b/f, have Darla, American Bulldog. DD#3 also has lots of bunnies as she shows them and has lots of champions.

When we got married in 1976, DH and I bought a shihtzu puppy and named her Yum Yum. When she passed, we bought brother and sister shihtzus', from a very dear friend of ours that showed and bred shihtzus, named them Sushi and Sake. Sushi had a litter of 4 sweet puppies, not to Sake, (it was a fun experience for our 3 dd's to witness "birth") and we kept one and named him Beni.....short for Benihana, a fav restaurant of ours.

Growing up, only pets I was afforded the honor of having were turtles and fish!!!! LOL My grandfather was petrified of dogs b/c of a few bad experiences when he was very young, in the early 1900s', and my parents did not want him to feel unwelcome if there would have been a dog. But, what was so funny was that when we got Yum Yum, he loved her and realized that dogs are only mean when someone makes them that way!!! Best picture I have of my late grandfather is one of him sitting on my sofa w/ Yum Yum beside him!!! He had his relaxed hand on her and a smile on his face!!! He was so proud of himself!!!!!

Rescued tiger cat named Gordie
And my 3 legged black wonder cat we call Trey

DD came home with a Pug named Boomer a few months ago, so hes joined the clan.

Well we have been adopted by this little tan cat with the widest nose & biggest orange eyes!! Our 2 cats are not happy about him showing up last week and making himself at home.
So we have Zoe' & Mandy and now Tigger if he decides to stay.

A Mean Green parakeet named Tuttles.
The love of my life, Bernard, passed away in May, I miss him so much. He was white and was 1/2 Chihuahua & 1/2 Pekingnese and was the bestes furry pal I ever had.
I would like a small Boston Terrier someday....

I Have A Very Spoiled Black Lab Mutt Named Riley Who Is 9 1/2. And An Even More Spoiled Black Cat Named Maxxum Who Is 1. Please Note Both Animals Are Black And The Both Have Red Collars. According To Dh The Animals Must Match. And The Have To Have Red Collars To Go With The Red Tractors That We Have. Dh Is Kinda Anal About Stuff Matching Like That.
