    Re: Biggest loser club

efue, it takes water in your system to remove what breaks down when you lose weight. Losing water, salt, and minerals through sweat, is not going to make you lose fat. In this heat, you could have a heat stroke trying to wear that plastic while exercising.
If you want to lose water, just start drinking lots of water.

Eeks, I found this comment on a message board.....

My friend knew someone who actually died this way. The heat caused the chemicals from the plastic to seep into her skin, and it poisoned her.

If you want to sweat off weight, you could try running in hot weather (not sure what the weather is like near you, but it IS almost July) or a sauna...

That makes you lose water and not fat..the thermal and bag. Very dangerous. Can be a trip to the ER.

Evergreen.........IF you can at all find a WW near you, go to a meeting and find out all about it in the flesh. I personally am not disciplined enough to do Online WW or something like E-Diets........I did WW online and it was too easy to just not do anything because I didn't have others to push me........so, I wasted my money.

If you go to a meeting, you face your peers on a weekly basis, the more you go, the more you gain the "tools" to learn to make it all a "lifestyle" on your own. I am a people person, I need people around me who support me and whom I can go to if I have a question. WW Online has a message board much like you can do here in wanting to get opinions or info about anything under the sun. However, I think the message board with WW Online is just an additional perk to going to the meetings in person. Something about seeing others succeed makes me want the same thing for myself........online diets just don't do that for me!!!

how easy is it to follow the WW programs? I know there seems to be a few programs to follow, how do you decide which one is right for you? I\'ve thought about ordering the WW program, but just a little unsure......

I agree about packaged food. If you cannot learn how to eat by doing it yourself, you will never keep it off once you go back to regular food.
Losing weight is not a gimmick, it's a lifestyle change...period

It's a rip.... Do WW, and you'll be sure to shed the lbs.. And keep it off... On TV the other day, they were talking about Jenny Craig, and what a rip that is too. Sure you can lose, but you'll gain it back. They said Kristie Alley gained all her weight back, plus some.. You cannot live on packaged meals forever.. I swear by WW. And others here do too.
