Trip was super fun. Surprise for oldest DD and her beau went w/o a hitch ('cept the Priceline car rental... ) and the kids were so surprised.
Spending the weekend in my old house was really bittersweet and sometimes kind of creepy... knowing where light switches and utensils and stuff were w/o a thought... and even tho I was tempted... I did not poop behind a chair to be discovered at a much later date (tee hee). I was actually really happy to see the house looking so well... thanks to the freeloader who lives at dumb-ex's house, who welcomed me like we'd known each other for years.
Spent time w/ my high school pals and took drives down several different memory lanes. Also got to spend time w/ middle DD who's still lives in Philadelphia. It was fun, if not AT ALL restful (trying to keep up w/ youngsters ain't easy on these old farts!!).
So, oldest DD and her honey are in Portland... I'll have to save up my pennies and frequent flyer miles to make trips to Portland now that I have 2 DDs there!
Back to work... ugh!!!
