  • Bean or Isis -- anyone heard from them?

Our FOX network coverage is with Orlando. They have had intensive coverage of Fay and the flooding caused by this storm. So much power has been halted because of the excessive rains ...........so I've been wondering (along with a prayer for those impacted) whether they have been on this site in the past few days. It looks as though Fay is finally making a move ....................Straight to us . Will be happy to get rid of her. Since so many of the feeder rain bands are in south Georgia, we'll probably see the Suwannee come up some, but that is nothing compared to 17-25 inches of rain that those folks in Brevard County are dealing with. Hope Bean and Isis are safe and dry.

Yes, hopefully everybody is OK. I heard the storm is now also going to cover parts of Georgia ??
Didn't Isis post at one time, that she and her family are moving back to Arizona ? So maybe they are not in Florida anymore?

I missed the post that Bean was moving. The rain bands extend into south Georgia -- that's why we have reason for concern with the river -- the river forms in south Georgia. We're waiting .......................... they finally cancelled schools in our country for tomorrow. So far, we have only had light rain today, and, very scattered. Now Isis, where are you?

Oh not us! We are not going anywhere! Isis and her family were moving this summer.

I just posted on the thread that was started earlier (bumped).

It's STILL coming down and the wind is crazy! Fay is very stubborn and is moving slow and growing! I just wish she would move on and DIE!

Oh and yes, about the fish, snakes and alligators that could be in the waters is all over the news – YET they show people walking around and playing in the water!

                    Stay safe & dry!

No, Isis was going to move, but I don't remember the time frame.

I am so glad to read Bean's notes. The Orlando Fox station has been all over the flooded areas and it is easy to worry. Her county has massive flooding. Fay is now headed our way -- we are dead set in the middle of her path. The winds are now at 60 mph which is not nearly as bad as those during the "year of the hurricane" in 2004. Hopefully, dottalk and I won't meet up with any tornadoes that these storms normally spawn. Just wish she would speed up and move on.
