  • Obama Selects Biden As VP

Strong in National Security. They are saying Obama was losing confidence and that's why he needed to pick Biden. Hillary was out of the question.

Luv ya too, Tx... but another Republican president won't change anything either... I gotta put my faith in new blood and fresh ideas and forward movement, no matter how little change he'll actually accomplish. McCain and his beliefs (like most in his party) are just too far from mine!!

Democrats have historically lowered the deficit. We're suckin' so bad right now I feel like I have to vote dem so my grandkids won't be facing a multi-trillion dollar defict.

I also want us OUT of Iraq. McCain thinks we need to stay (to clean up Shrub's mess). How many need to die for oil? Oh....it's not about the oil. I forgot! Silly me...

i am not as worried about obama in office as I am worried that if he gets in what the country will do.

I don't think the country is mentally stable enough to handle a president of color.

I see riots. I see violence. and I see people out of control.
I just hold on tighter, to a hand that's stronger...he knows my every thought, he clears my weary heart, and hold's on tighter...

You might see that in the deep south. The rest of the country seems more than ready for someone who's not in the Good Ol' Boy network.

I agree that Obama, if elected, will likely be a target for the intolerant of this country. When you look at it that way, Obama sure is brave for moving forward with his campaign.

Re: Obama Selects Biden As VP

I have always voted Democrat, wanted Hillary to win, so thought maybe I could vote for Obama if Hillary was the VP, but now, I guess I will have to vote Republican, and hope my dead grandfather does not come back to haunt me. Even my father, another truly democrat voter, won't vote for Obama.Never thought I would be in this position, but I really want to not vote for president, buy DH told me that I better reconsider that in case the contest is tight.

I have no problem with a black president but not this one. I see much problems if he gets in such as screwing with the middle class people and plain inexperience. We are voting McCain all the way!!!

As for Obama getting us out of Iraq, he came back from Iraq, and Afghanistan and said we need more troops over there. We will always need people over there, we still have troops in Germany, and Japan for Heaven's sake.

i don't live in a clouded bubble. Doesn't matter where I live, and texas isn't really the deep south.

this household is Mc Cain all the way as well.
