  • Dog Urine Smell on the Garage Floor

What can I use to remove the dog urine smell that is pn the floor of a garage? My daughter bought a home and the smell seems to be only on the garage floor. I'm thinking something pretty strong would do the trick. Probably will have to scrub the floor, but with what?

I think I'd give Simple Green a try. It comes in gallon jugs in the pet stores.

They sell some stuff at Wal-mart that really works. It's in a plastic jug, it's called Urine gone or something like that.

Believe it or not, but there's a product called Anti Icky Poo. It's a deodorizer that's used for many things including removing the smell of dead body from things like cars and homes. I have a sofa with cat urine smell on it and I'm going to order some for that. I'll let you know if it works. So far, nothing else has.

I have always used odormute. I buy the powder and mix it myself a little stronger than the package says. I used it in kennels and on skunked dogs.

My dd uses Kennelsol in the kennel she works in.

My BIL does home remodeling and he mops with bleach and he swears it takes it out of the concrete before he lays new carpet. I would not dilute it much myself. It is cheap and worth a try. Wont harm animals.
