I'm AT work... tee hee...
I have a bowl of kitchen scraps to make my new compost bucket (big bin w/ lid) ... gotta go out there after work and gather some leaves, grass clippings, etc. I read an issue of Mother Earth News over the weekend and it got me GOING!! ha ha... We'll see how long it lasts as babe goes nuts over bowls of kitchen scraps around!!

Good morning, that damned alarm clock gremlin hit my house this morning, I got up about 20 min late, got to work just on time though!!! SSDD, eating me a plate of bacon and eggs, I'm good!!

He did! The ad he put in the local newsletter was Git 'R Done with Handyman Pat... so far... not ONE phone call!! And why does the damn dryer not heat up when I put MY clothes in??? Ugh I hate messing with dryers. I got shocked by one and swore off of messing with them. Looks like I go back on my word. When my DS2 (not dear trust me) gets off work I guess I am going to have him pull it out and have a look see at it. He is wearing very damp clothes to work today. Oh well does him good "what doesn't kill you builds character". haha
HuffleGod grant me the serenity to accept the yarn I cannot return... courage to change the yarn I can... and the reciept to know the difference.

Huffle, your heating coil might have burned out. It happened to me a few years back.
Luvs, maybe he should list some of the things he's willing to do--clean out rubbish, put on/take down storm windows, hang pictures, fix leaks etc. etc. And something like 'No job too small or too dirty'Last edited by Ginger; 08-26-2008, 11:32 AM.Communicate. It can't make things any worse!Comment

Luvs, I wish he lived closer! He can also try putting up signs in the local grocery stores, laundrymats, on the bulletin board at Home Depot or Lowes. Also if he could get a personalized magnetic sign with the phone number on it to put on his truck. I always pay attention to those, because a lot of times guys have those on their trucks cos they cant afford to advertise anywhere else.Comment

Another hot one here. I really hate it. Already 90º at 10:00 AM. More packing to do today. The floors have been sealed and the carpets are being shampooed today at the new house. Hopefully we can start moving stuff in tomorrow or Thursday. Yay!Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.Comment
