getting permenant ink out...

we have done this before i know.
but at ther time i didn't have ink on my clothes..

Dh managed to wash a sharpie with his new shirt.
anyone successful in getting it out?

how do you get out permenant ink? after it's dried of course?

Years ago they used hairspray, but that was for small spots. Don't know about large areas. You could dye the whole shirt that color!

I Know Alcohol Will Get Out Ink, That's Main Ingredient In Hairspray, May Try That. Don't Know How Well It'll Work After Been Washed And Dried Though.

If the stain is very large...you can take it out by putting it into the garbage...lol

it's a small plaid shirt.

DD16 saved her baby sitting money for it, she bought it for him, i didn't help her out at all.
I went back to get another before she found out about it, and they are sold out.

i really wanted to save the shirt.

Just feeling a bit silly this am...I have also heard that hair spray works...I really do hope that you can get it out Hun. Have you called the Dry Cleaners for hints?

my DH did the same thing. I used Zout and repeated washed the affected items not drying until the stain was gone. This happened to my daughters special cheer shirt which is white and zout did an excellent job.
