Good morning all!! SSDD, I can't wait until Friday afternoon and the end of this week. I see you all were having a grand old time last night, measuring boobies and everything!

Pretty much SSDD here too.
When I was playing w/ my oldest DD 2 weeks ago, I watched her dry and then flat iron her hair. It was beautiful! Got me a flat iron and did the whole deal yesterday... GEEZ... it's HARD and takes a long time!!
Tomorrow is the end our my office's "summer hours" where we take only 1/2 hour for lunch and have only a 1/2 day on Friday! We'll go back to hour lunches, but I'd SO much rather have that 1/2 day Friday!!

My thoughts for today are............
GAWD, I wish my husband would do something about not being able to sleep. He is tired all day long, moping around the house "I'm so tired" "I can't do that, I am too tired" "Do you mind if I sit here and play poker?" but then at night, he can't sleep.......I am about ready to knock him out. But...........he won't do anything about it so.............
Also, my other thought would be I am getting anxious about tomorrow.....
I am taking my daughter to a music festival and she wants to meet Jessica Simpson. Can you imagine? I have seen her in the magazines and seen her on TV and such but I have NEVER met a celebrity in 'real life'. I will probably be just as giddy as she will. She also has the *chance* to meet Lonestar ?? I have no idea who they are, just know they play music! lol Also.....Smashmouth. She is kinda excited about them too. I don't care about them, I just want to help her with the Jessica Simpson thing. ~*~crossing my fingers~*~
Gotta get so much stuff done around here today it's unreal.
I wish I could just have a few drinks and forget about it all.Comment

Yeah SSDD here too. The tile guy is supposed to come here this afternoon and measure for the backsplash. That's the only excitement in my life right now. I'm with Flutterby. Wish I could just forget about housework, yardwork, all the responsible things I have to do every day and just veg.Communicate. It can't make things any worse!Comment

But my backsplash will end up costing waaaaay more than any bra--even with the panties thrown in and will last longer too!!
And if I'm really lucky, the measurer will be a real hunk and I'll have the pleasure of watching him measure

NO, .... but we had a good time. Weather was only 105 in the shade, but so dry, no humidity, which is wonderful. Went to our favorite seafood place, I know you don't think of Vegas and good seafood. But they do have it. The Palms hotel, where we stayed , has a seafodd restaurant called The Blue Agave. I had a shrimp cocktail, next day I had ceviche, SO had clam chowder and oysters on the half shell. Tried to get tickets to see Bette Middler, but no good seats were left. And I refuse to sit in a lousy seat when I see a big production show like she has. Maybe next time. We flew Southwest and believe it or not, they were on time, coming and going ! Overall great trip !Comment
