my husband just got out of a meeting, this is where i get my news from.

Prices here went up 15 cents a gallon since yesterday. It was $3.33. This morning its $3.48. Thats dayum scary.Comment

It's a good thing we keep our tanks full.....
Go figure...it's really a sad thing that people can't afford to evacuate because it costs too much.
Then if you can evacuate you will either have a hell-aciously long trip to your destination or get stuck on the interstate with the gas stations all closed...
It's just crazy.
Yesterday evening they were talking about how they were going to have the people leave..in order, by zip codes....right..I thought....Have you made time to listen to the birds today........Comment

Yesterday gas here was $3.49, that was in the morning by the afternoon around 3pm it was $3.69. $.20 in one day!!Comment

Not that this matters, but it would have gone up anyway with the holiday. They aren't shutting the rigs down...just removing personnell. The rigs can run by themselves.Comment
