  • Need help finding a recipe...

    i think it was here, i've tried several search's and nothing...

    somewhere I saw a recipe, for chili, that had grilled steak in it. I did find several that looked amazing, but this one stood out because of the steak, or grilled steak was in it.

    I don't remember who posted it, i wanna say it was either bean or chefkel??
    anyone know? can you bump it for me?
    I just hold on tighter, to a hand that's stronger...he knows my every thought, he clears my weary heart, and hold's on tighter...

    This one?

    Here is my recipe for chili, won 1'st place a couple years ago.

    Bean's Chili


    2 lbs. Hamburger
    2 Onions, chopped
    2 Green peppers, chopped

    Brown ground beef & onions, green peppers, drain fat and add these ingredients.

    Steak, grilled & cubed (2 NY strips)
    2 to 3 Jalapenos (or more)
    1 Habanero
    1 can diced green chiles
    1 LG. bottle liquid Tabasco Spicy Bloody Mary mix
    1 LG. can tomato sauce
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 (heaping) t. dried peppers (hot pepper flakes)
    6 to 8 T. chili powder
    3 cans dark red kidney beans
    1 can black beans or chili beans if desired

    Simmer 2 to 3 hours.

      yes that's it, thank you.

      I had read it awhile back, Dh and I were talking last night about chili weather lol
      i remembered this one.

      should have saved it back then.
