she's really pretty. looks a lot like Tina Fey, of course that's all over the radio stations..

    anyone watching her speech?
she's like, "you and me" down to earth, normal.

Yep, brains, beauty and down to earth, how exciting!

I think her speech was tremendous. She sure has a good looking family.

They wrote a very good speech for her and she delivered as I suspected she would. She is a strong lady!

I have not been watching the convention consistantly however will someone tell me what has happened to the VICE PRESIDENT, DICK CHANEY?

I have not heard anyone speak of him, nor have I heard he will be speaking at the convention!

            How come?

It seems as if he's fallen from favor lately. Or maybe because he's a "lame duck" VP?

Loved, loved, loved the speech! She is engaging, smart, tough, but not shrill (like other women I seem to remember....). She will make a great VP.

It was OK. I thought she got a little too cutesy a few times. It just didn't stand out for me.

Wow! I have missed something. I wonder how he fell from favor?

                    Very tricky!

Although Ms. Palin gave a strong speech one can come off too strong. She seemed at times to be too sarcastic, and maybe we could have heard more about her on her terms instead of a speech writers thoughts, but that's politics.

I do not believe that her speech or her beliefs will secure (Hillary's) 18M votes.

Her husband is bi-racial (handsome man) he is part Native American and something else.

has anyone ever seen that beautiful little baby move?

I sure hope the GOP has not bitten off more than it wants to chew~

Darn I missed it. I really wanted to hear her speak because it just seemed to me that everytime she had something to say it was about Alaska when she is no longer running for Alaska but will be serving the entire USA. I suppose soon they will have it on You Tube and I can listen.

Although I won't be voting the McCain ticket, I think she gave a wonderful speech! At first, I thought it was a mistake on McCains part to select her as VP, but after her speech I'm convinced he made a brilliant decision in selecting her as a running mate.

The speech is on MSN website this morning already...........

I was amused last night after it was over....on one of the networks that is known for being 'left leaning', they kept repeating that her speech was written by George Bush's speech writer - just couldn't give the girl credit for anything! At least she delivered it well! most speeches we hear on both sides are written by professional writers....no secret there!

i didn't think she was too cutesy.
i felt she gave a speech that i was able to understand, and wasn't too political.
i am one who doesn't grasp everything these fancy political peeps say, like listening to lawyers, or reading the lawyers document, over the top, she speaks so everyone including my son could understand her.

i'm still laughing at her little girl spitting on her hand and then wiping the baby's hair lol
i am certain someone will tear that up.
