raining finally

It has been raining steadly since early morning. Nice & cool & dark in house. Perfect nap weather but I had a long lists of things to do while kids are in school today.
Guess the lawn will wake up and start to grow. This is the 1st yr in 13 that I lived her that nearly the entire neighborhood has tan lawns. People just can't afford to water their lawns like in past years.

I saw on the weather it was cooling off up that way. Send some of that cool weather this way!!!

It is Wisconsin weather for sure up here! 87 one day and 65 the next.

I wouldn't mind 65 ° myself, it's about 97 ° here in SA

We could use a steady rain here where I am. It is so dry. Many cities have water restrictions. Just a steady rain would so help

I would take some of that 65 weather..It's 95 here sunny California!!!!!!!! Can't wait for rain and cold

I am really glad it is raining but having to go out in it is painful for me. Every raindrop on my skin feels like acid. Since my brain surgery water has to be body temp or it hurts.
Glad the high 80's is gone for now. Love the cool nights for sleeping.

I have been watering some 'recently planted' bushes everyday for an hour (well water), and I can tell you, it has kept the bushes alive but the grass is DEAD. Sure have needed the rain!
