thanks for the answer. I do have a wegmans in state college. We usually run down there about 4 times a year. We are due soon.

Dragun.........is there a Wegman's near you? I know they are in your region and they probably would have it. Sweet Hungarian Paprika is dry like regular paprika but a more vibrant color and gives a nice rich flavor.
I got mine from my local grocery store and it was among the regular spices. If worse comes to worst, check Penzeys Spices: http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penzeys/shophome.html. I know they have it for order from their site. I've gotten plenty of spices from them in the past and they are very expedient and not so bad in price either. In fact, when I run out of my SHP, I'm ordering their's next time with some other things.

Ok, you say in the goulash recipe to use sweet hungarian paprika. Is this a dry spice and where do you get it. I checked my local store and couldn't find it in the spices or the international aisle.
do you think walmart would have it?
