yes, magnets can lose strength. It has to do with alignment of electrons, or something like that. If I remember back to my high school days, you can remagnetize a magnet. Hey, google it!

the same liner for over two years? wow you are amazing.
do you use this shower every day?

I replace mine once a month. they get oogy and start to stain, i change them out. down stairs one more than the upstairs one, but the one down stairs is in a smaller bathroom so i guess that's why it gets so oogy.

dollar general hooks me up on that. love them !

i don't remember replacing the curtain or liner in any apt we lived in, truthully.

the mold is just so bad, i guess it's the humdity..

we have 5 toilets, but only two showers.
the one upstairs isn't too bad, with the mold, but the one in our room is.
i just throw it out and replace it first sign of mold.
sweet husband says just wash it with the towels, but i refuse to do that, for 2 bucks i'll just replace it.

Re: Could magnets on shower liner lose strength ?

I change mine when I can no longer wash it clean. I wash my liner with laundry soap, Borax and I toss in a couple bath towels to help with a scrubbing effect. I do that maybe twice a year. We don't have mold or mildew problems in this dry climate.

I *have* to shower each and every day. Otherwise I feel oogy. :P

                  no doubt sweet pea.
i shower, never bathe. sometimes 2 times a day. just because i get so hot and oogy in this humidity here.
