Hmmm there was a reason why these posts were off limit, a few slipped through, and I thought oh wow, everyone can discuss things nicely. Of course this didn't last. I will now delete threads that start due to political commentary, and put a 10 day ban on the folks that start the threads.

Wow, it's a real shame this is necessary. I wish we could discuss politics like adults. Why do people have to be so childish?

I couldnt agree more. you would think we could discuss things like adults, but maturity level goes out the window when anything political gets mentioned.

i cannot post anything like did you see michelle obama on yahoo as best dressed.
and I cannot say have you noticed how grey barack is becoming just from the election alone?

can I mention how cute i think sarah's little girl is?

is there NO mention of these canadiates at all?
is their family off limits?

just asking, just want to be totally clear should I ever feel the need to ask if anyone saw sarah's adorable shoes. or can I not mention that either?

I find these types of questions frustrating. If someone as an adult does not know if the subject they are speaking of is politically based, or racially based I am at a loss to come up with rules to prevent these types of discussions.

How can someone not know if their post is politically or racially based? If colour/nationality is part of the comment then it is racially based.
