hello red, not quite auburn, shorter than the photo hair.

I know I know it'll grow, i know i know, some people don't have hair, i know i know be thankful you have hair.

but still.... i think i cut at least 6 inches. I think i will like it better in about 4 months. when it gets to the lenght i think i want it. lol

You cut your own hair ? You are a very brave soul. LOL Hope it will come out the way you want it to , one of these days LOL so you went from brown to red. I used to be a redhead, as I got older , I realized I needed for my hair to be lighter, so I now have highlights. Love it.

one time i let my kids cut my hair.
it had gotten too long and the ends were dried out and frizzy. i had DD2 hold the ruler and i let DD1 cut it (11 and 7) shouldn't be that hard to do !

well at some point the ruler slipped and i had one side lay over the shoulder by 4 nches and the other side just swung over the shoulder.... terribly crooked.

DD2 was in 3rd grade, for parent night, they had to draw a family picture... and there I am, tall, plump and curly hair, one side longer than the other... all these swirls lol.

it's more red than i wanted, i wanted auburn, darker brown with a suttle tint of red that showed up in the sunlight... i don't know what this is.. we'll give it a few days.

I let my Sister cut my hair right before the Hurricane!
It was halfway down my back and dead & frizzy on the ends...
I am going Wednesday to have it corrected.
All the hair is my own color and the gray in it is really nice... just a few around my face that looks like highlights. Un believable how shiny & healthy it looks now, but the cut needs help. It is above my neck and is so thick that it looks like a triangle...lol!

I used to wear my hair Auburn many years ago. I bet it looks really nice Stella. It will lighten up some. How does your DH like his new wife?

lol Stella, I'm sure it looks great! That's so funny because Thursday, my day off, DRM said "wanna haircut?" (we met in cosmetology school almost 20 years ago but we don't do that anymore). Believe me, when she offers I take her up on it!! I'll miss her for so many other reasons....

Instead of doing more brown - go lighter golden red or blondish red - so it's lighter. That will really be a change! And you might look younger too! So I've heard - lighter hair sometimes makes folks look younger! Well, maybe not light gray. Ha!
