    Re: reading any books?

I'm reading Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates. I checked it out of the library a week or two before finding out it was being made into a movie to be released in December or January. The book takes place in suburban Connecticut in the 1950's. It's the second novel of his that I've read. He's a great author; I feel like I've gone back in time!

Been scouring the latest issue of Mother Earth News. I had a subscription 100 years ago and forgot how much I enjoy the magazine! Makes me want to grow all our food and do a whole bunch of neat stuff!

Do cook books count? I'm ALWAYS reading one of those...
If not then: LTD catalog, Avon catalogs, current catalog, do catalogs count?
If not then: Kids directory, Girl scout handbook/badge book, Local yankee trader, do those count?
                If not then: NOTHING!

I just finished reading Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Pioult. The story is about a geeky kid that is bullied from the time he starts kindergarten until high school, and reaches the breaking point and takes a gun to school and takes out those who bullied him. Really, really a good read.
