i haven't picked it up again since I was home.
i havne't found that it was real inspiring to anyone other than his kids.

    i got bored.

Stella, I am reading The Last Lecture as a book club assignment. I saw the author on t.v. and what he said seemed pretty interesting but it might be because I still have a little one at home. I like his advice to his daughter when she grows up and dates. He said pay attention to what they do rather than what they say.

i did read memory keeper's daughter, i enjoyedit very much. then saw the lifetime movie. great one too.

i saw the last lecture, enjoyed it very much.
          saw him on oprah. amazing.
he has some stuff in there that is great, but it doesn't GRAB me like he did on tv.
but i am weird with books anyways, they need to hold on to me, or i'll put it down.

I guess I enjoy reading 'pulp' because by the time I actually pick up a book, all I want is entertainment, maybe a little 'inuendo' but nothing that makes me think too much or has such a deep story that I have backtrack a couple of chapters to find the clue that I missed.

What am I reading right now--I'd have to go down to the bedroom to find the author, the main charactor's name is Bailey and it is a murder mystery set in a magazine office. Quite entertaining for the 20 minutes I give to it every night before bedtime. Short chapters.

My son-in-law liked Rhett Butler's People. I've read Radner's book, & it was very good. I'm reading Don't Shoot, It's Only Me by Bob Hope. It's old, of course, & I've read it before, but it's not only entertaining, but informative. Lots of laughs, & info about all the USO tours in war zones, etc.
