Wait, I did clean my patio furniture in the diswasher. Well 3 pieces of it, then it took to long so I went to the car wash.

          No.
Saw Debra on Everybody loves Raymond cook a fish for Thanksgiving that way.

          Ok - yuk.
          On both counts.

Cooking fish in the DW. Or anything. Just doesn't appeal to me.

I tried it. It works. You just season your fish the way you like it and lay it on some heavy duty foil pour some melted butter on it and put it in the top rack of dishwasher and let it run for the entire cycle....it poaches it.
It's a good way to cook if you want people to think you've lost your ever-loving mind!!! LOL!
Actually it tasted good if you like poached fish. I prefer fried or grilled....

TexAnn, do you HAVE to run the dry cycle for it to cook right? I never use it.

When I tried this (many years ago) I ran it through the entire cycle...

I've read that it's a terrible waste of water.

You are kidding right ? The entire cycle , water and all ? I thought it would be just the drying cycle. Wouldn't the water basically destroy the flesh of the fish ???

I don't know if I care to try it. I would feel like I am doing two chores instead of one.
