    I saw your post and recipe on the cornbread thread. Could you please tell me how exactly, you cook it in your cast iron skillet (greased or not, what temp, covered or not, how long---well just make some for me and send it---that would be good )

    Sure! I put the cast iron skillet in the oven to preheat to 400 w/ just a few tblsp of oil in it... like 2 tblsp. Then I mix up the cornbread like I listed and when the oven is heated, I pour it into the HOT skillet. Cook for 20 min. till browned on top! I let it cool for a few minutes in the skillet before trying to "plate" it so it's done and doesn't stick.

    That enough info for ya? It's the BEST cornbread EVER!!

        You're SO welcome! Often, I double the recipe and cook it in my big cast-iron skillet... the recipe I gave you is for a small skillet. I bought and seasoned a bunch of the small skillets and gave one to each of my kids... GOTTA have the skillet!!
