i think meat got overcooked.....

Either I baKed it too long or at too high a temperature because the French roast or other good cut I got, chews like chewing gum !!!!

Any tips ?

Slice it up and put into crockpot with gravy. Works for me everytime. MY last roast had me in tears it was so tough. I sliced it up, thicken up drippings and put it all in crock pot for like 2hrs. No chewing needed anymore!! DH couldn't believe I saved it

I'd use very low heat like 225- 275
