Miss Lillie Was Born At 1:49 This Afternoon! 7lbs 8oz, 20 & 1/2" Long, They Havnt Figured Out A Middle Name Yet, Either Mae Or Ann. I Had A Bunch Of Cute Pics And Gs Dropped Camera, Batteries Came Out And All Pics Erased!!
I Just Snapped A Couple More Before We Left.

Big brother just kinds of rolled his eyes and started playing with his toys when introduced to her! lol. He wasn't impresed at all. Her labor was short and easy. They started the "Pit" to induce her about 9 this morning. By 11 she was a 5 and got her epidural, she rested for awhile, she turned on her side and napped a bit. She called the nurses at one point because the fetal monitor had slipped when she rolled and we couldn't get it to register. About 30 min later the nurse came in, no one had told her DIL had called, she fixed the monitor, thank goodness, because Lillie's heart rate was dropping drastically with her contractions, she rolled her back to her side and the heart rate stayed normal, Thank God!! She checked her then and OMG! she's crowning! The Doctor just barely made it in time, you've never seen the nurses move so fast!!! It scared me abit when I saw ther heart rate drop, I knew what it meant, DIL and DS did not. I didn't say anything, because I didn't want to scare them. DIL only had to push 8-10 times if that, and poof there was my perfect little girl!!

I had pics of her first taste of "titty" (mom's breast feeding). And dad holding her for the first time, Oh well, DS and DIL's sister, and my mom got several pics. Hopethey email them to me.

They didn't want GS at the babysitters, so they brought him to me when they went to the hospital, and I brought him with me, we got there about 9. Something told me to pack him some toys and juice. And, sure enough, they didn't bring anything for him! There were enough people there he kept busy and had just fallen asleep on the bench in the waiting room with my mom when I went and told DIL's mom we were ready, we both got to watch. So I've gotten to see both my grandkids born.

I didn't type all this earlier because I was trying to put GS to sleep. DS is spending the night at the hospital and was going to keep GS there also. So I told him just to let him stay here. I hope I get some sleep tonight! lol He fell asleep great, but didn't want to lay down in the strange bed. We'll see how long it lasts! lol
