All those abbreviations

Being new here, I don't know what most of the abbreviations stand for. I figure DH is dear husband, DS, dear son, DD, dear daughter. But what is SsDD? Please help an old lady in Ireland figure it all out. Thanks.

I never would have figured that one out. LOL I know about things like btw (by the way), but I'm kind of old and some of this stuff is totally new to me. Now that someone told me, I do remember ssdd from years ago. Thanks to both of you for your help. And alliek, I'm going to check out that website. Having a 15 year old living with me, it could come in handy.

My fav ROFLMAO = Rolling on the floor laughing my @ off.
Then you have all the Dear's or Dang's
DS = Dear/Dang Son
DD = Dear/Dang Daughter
DH = " Husband
DW = " Wife
DN = " Niece or Nephew

And thus creativly so on. And OMG = Oh my god. Which we usualy respond when Nu says something. And *Duck* is what you do when she throws something back at you or when you actualy see a duck.

I've been afk (?) all week, so I'm just now catching up. Those are great. Some of them I knew, but several I did not. I changed ROFLMAO to ROFLMHO (H standing for head) I LOVE ggp brb !! That's one I sure have to remember. I was reading the chatter about Paula Deen's mag. and I sure miss it. But the overseas subscription was too expensive. I use to take Southern Living, but their overseas subscription is something like $140.00 !! No thanks, I can find it on line. I just take Cooking For 2 and still love it.
