  • CARS, the movie

Last night DH, DD (25) and myself went to see CARS. DD thought it would be fun for us to see it (as we are diehard NASAR fans).. and it was a DISNEY movie. (Favorites in the house are NEMO, Emperors New Grove, Shriek)
Well.. at first we all looked at each other and rolled our eyes..but after a while we all really got into it! It was totally cute - voices were awesome (Helen Hunt was excellent and Larry the Cable Guy did a great job!).
Anyone else gone to see it??

We went today and loved it. What part did Helen Hunt play?

Route 66 is about 50 miles from where I live. Riverton, KS had a big celebration today....was it in the movie?

Oh, yeah, it had a lot about Route 66 in it. It runs right through Tulsa too, where I live. Larry the Cable Guy ("Mater") stole the show. He was darling!

Tessa , do you think an 8 and 6 year old girl would enjoy this movie? DD and I were thinking about taking my two little granddaughters to the movies, and were was thinking this would be fun.

We took my 6 yr. old niece. I thought it was very cute. "Mater" was the best!

As far as I know Helen Hunt didn't do any of the voices, Bonnie Hunt did a voice, maybe that's what you were thinking.

I thought it was Bonnie Hunt too as the Porsche. I would say any kid who is old enough to sit through a movie would absolutely love it. I only wish my two-year-old son could sit still that long yet because he loves the commercials for it.

Never heard of it Tessa. Maybe hubby and I will rent it on DVD when it comes out.
