Good morning to all my CK friends!

The sun is already shining bright this morning. But I'll bet it's going to be a hot one. Yesterday it almost made it to 90 degrees and in Charleston when we left it was going to be 98 degrees. YOWZA!

My plans for the day have to include unpacking and getting some order back in our lives before Monday morning hits us all! LOL!! And hopefully a Sunday afternoon nap.

Looks like yard/garden work for us today. If it doesn't rain I'm jumping in the pool. Other than that, hopefully a nice RELAXING day.

Yesterday it was 93º with a heat index of 100º!

good morning to all my Ck friends.
It is still over cast here with a chance of showers most of the day. only in the 50's here. no pool for me!! brrrrrrr
I am waiting for DD's frined to wake up so I can drive her home. She slept over last night, but now DD is off to a babysitting job, so I have to see to her friend. I don't mind...she is a good kid.
I am also off to the shower, and then the funeral home. My aunt passed away this weekend, so will take my mom with me.
Other than that....a few groceries to get, some laundry...odds and ends.

Well ...we will get up to mid-sixties today, was so chilly last night the furnace ran ...still is!!! I am thinking COLD SUMMER.

I have some things I need to get done up to be ready for my surgery next week...want to also make afew meals and freeze them. I never got the Mighty Tacos yesterday

today is another hotty for us, no plans other then church and lunch/dinner is already cooked. I may take a trip to wall-world to exchange a top I bought. Then I will relax and try to finish my book.

I sure hope you both had a wonderful time at the beach.............did you dig your toes in the sand?? I love to walk in the sand.

Today we are taking the Mustang out for a cruise somewhere, I don't know where but somewhere - LOL. We haven't taken a road trip in awhile and it is time. Hubby put a coat of wax on the car and it is so purty. Going to grab early dinner somewhere while we are out and about.

He is off golfing now and as soon as he gets back we are heading out. Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

WELCOME BACK KAT! Hope you enjoyed your vacation!

Today is Bavarian Festival parade. Annual event. Town packed with tourist! They use our street for parade line-up. They had 108 entries, and we had # 88, 89 & 90 in front of our house. One was a convertible hauling a Politician, another was a Sheriff's car and then a small float. We can get in and out of street until about 12 noon. Parade kicks off at 1 pm and by 1:30 pm it is moving away from our house. We decided to go shopping and escape from the people ringing our door bell who want a drink of water, a needle and thread to fix a torn gown, use the bathroom. Been there, done that and don't want any more of it! The bathroom use really was the pitts!! Nothing like 20 old beer drinking geezers in hot sun needing to use my bathroom. NO NO Not again! They are courteous but enough is enough. Don't like cleaning up after them! giggle

Back home and do laundry that I didn't finish, make a pot of chili and a meatloaf, as weather is cooler than normal. Might be 68 to 70 degs today with a north wind.

Hello all! After staying up so late playing on CK, I slept in really late!
I went to a "Stampin' Up" party and learned and made 10 cards. They are so cool! I ordered a few things, too.
These cards remind me of those awesome ones CraftLady did/does.
I like this!
