(insert big tears here). after 3 weeks off, it is going to be a pain. but mostly, we got a new store director, and i am afraid to see what bull she is pulling now! i wonder if my fingers will remember the produce codes? i hope so, cause i dont think the brain will. 1-8, that is my shift tonite *sighs*

so sorry to hear you have to go back to the rat race.............after three weeks I am not sure I would remember how to work.

And to have to go back to such a long shift......ugh! They could have eased you back into the zoo slowly....like a 4 or 6 hour shift to start off. But it's Sunday time/$$ isn't it? That may make the pain a little easier.

lynn, actually i picked that shift. like u said, sunday=$$$$$ time and a half for me . even if it was a 2 hour shift...........I DONT WANNA GO!!!!!!!!!!!

I have extreme sympathy for you. I face the same thing Monday morning. I had a temp in for the 3 weeks I was away so now I have to find everything. She seemed very capable so hopefully there are no fires to stomp out.

couldnt believe how fast it went today. but then i couldnt believe how busy we were either! we are considered a "winter" store. once the snowbirds leave, business gets really slow. but i only had a couple of times that i didnt have a line going , chop
