I talked with Lina the other day and there was no news, then last night she sent me this (said to update CK). Keep the prayers coming. This is the latest -


Just wanted to update you on my sister. She DIDN'T have a massive stroke.. She has a blood clot in the back of her neck.. And something about her brain stem?? She still can't move anything & she can't speak.. But at least we know what the problem is and now go from there.. They put her on pain meds FINALLY yesterday.. They couldn’t till they knew what was wrong with her?? I say BS!

They said this certain blood clot hasta go away on its own... It’s caused by her having small veins in the neck....

Oh! this sounds like a tricky situation...I will keep her and the family in my prayers, they must be about to pop with worry. hope she gets better soon, that is scary thinking a blood clot is lodged in her neck ...sure hope she is getting meds to break it up safely.

Sounds like the doctors don't want to say anything until they know for sure what is going on. That has got to be frustrating to everyone involved!
Really scary sounding that a blood clot is lodged near her head. Hope the doctors will clue them in soon.

NEW UPDATE!

This just in from Lina (she is getting ready to head to the airport) -

My sister looked real good yesterday!! Even though she can't speak or move YET, she laughed her ass off yesterday! We had a great visit. She speaks with her eyes right now. Move em left means yes and right means no.. The nurse said she shouldn't be improving this fast! Guess they are just shocked on how much she improved in 1 day!! But that's my girl.. We are fighters.

I feel sooooooooooooooo much better leaving knowing she's doing so good!

I believe in the power of prayer! It does work..
