September 1st Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is a clear sky at the moment with the high a lovely 78 and the low a wonderful 58. The windows will be open today and tonight.

I am reclaiming back my yard, garden beds and flower boxes now that it has dried up from all the rain along with comfortable humidity. The weeds loved the weather, but I sure did not. I am putting meatballs in the crockpot so when I am tired tonight from working outside it will an easy dinner of meatballs sandwiches, salad and watermelon.

Dinner tonite is bread veal cutlets, herb & garlic noodles and baked beans.

Almost forgot to post today! It’s been a pretty day today, warm but not too bad. I took Abby down for a mani-pedi this afternoon and picked up her insulin prescription. She’s always very cooperative getting her claws done, I’d do it but her claws are pure black. One thing I’ve noticed since Mendi has been coming in the house regularly is that Abby’s appetite has definitely improved, I guess she thinks Mendi will eat it even though she’s never shown any interest in it. Funny little animals.

I tried out a recipe for Ritz Cracker Chicken with cheese sauce and I roasted some asparagus to have with it. The chicken was very good, I liked it better without the sauce. I’ll get it posted in Tried & True in a bit.
