  • September 4th Dinner Post

    Good Morning!

It is overcast and dark with rain moving in today for most of the day. It is muggy out still and the high will be 78 and the low of 66.

Dinner will be leftover beef and noodles with garden green beans added along with sliced tomato, cucumber and fruit.

    What will be your dinner?

We drew a circle that took him in.

Father's day here and we had dinner at Julia's house. I had chicken and corn soup, John had crumbed lamb cutlets with mashed potato, peas and carrot.

Tomorrow we have lots of errands to do once our groceries have been delivered... and then we'll have FOOD!!

It is gray, drizzly low 70s humidity is up there but with the low temps it's bearable. Perfect day for crocheting and napping.
I put cube steak, potatos and carrots with mushroom soup in the crock.
made a carrot cake Thurs night. New recipe it's eh. But sweet

So glad you're home Chayote. Missed ya

Well, the heat & humidity have left us! We had a great day spent at the lake yesterday, it was verrry hot! Everyone brought appetizers. Our son and his wife brought out their wave runner, and the kids had a blast on that. Our BIL took the kids out skiing.
        Dinner was BBQ'd cheeseburgers.
Quiet day here. Expecting DS home soon after another fishing trip...we will BBQ some jumbo dogs/cheese and I bought some local grown corn.

Welcome back Chayote! You were missed!

I can sure tell fall is coming! Cool, cloudy, very breezy and some of my backyard trees are starting to drop leaves like crazy. I’ll happily take this over being in SoCal this time of year. September and October were the hottest months down there, but this year they’ve been catching Hell all summer. I do not miss it. I really haven’t done a lot today, but then there’s not that much that needed doing either.

I think I’m going to get takeout from Gyro Stop this evening, it was so good last time and I got 2 dinners out of it.
