September 5th Dinner Post
Good Morning!
It is cloud covered with light rain that has been going on since yesterday. It will be humid still with the high of 76 and the low of 66.
I baked some russet potatoes yesterday and made them into twice baked potatoes, freezing most of them for future meals. I also took some potatoes and cubed them up with onions and peppers for home fries and froze those. Next, I baked sweet potatoes, peeled and mashed them up with a little butter and cinnamon. I put them most of them in the freezer also. DGS makes his own breakfast so the home fries will be a quick matter of just frying some up while packing his lunch and then making his eggs.
Tonight, we are having meatloaf, twice baked potatoes, corn on the cob and Rice Krispie bars all per DGS's request. He said he will be very willing in helping prepare the meal.
