September 8th Dinner Post

Good Morning!

It is a mostly sunny day with the high of 78 and the low of 60 and the humidity is still low.

Dinner will be DGS's favorite meal of clean out the fridge.

It is a gorgeous morning!
We have had so much wild life around here lately, more than normal. I got a cute pic of a doe and her fawn having a lay-down in our yard yesterday, they come around a lot as well as another doe + fawn and 2 bucks. And as of late, we have wild turkeys strutting across the yard....the usual groundhogs galore are still here, owls are hooting away in middle of night right outside our bedroom window, and of course the bears have made many appearances in town this summer. We had a large one just outside front door last week....I had door open with magnetic screen closed...hubby spotted bear as he was in the work yard adjacent from house, he phones me and says, 'you may want to close the door, there's a huge bear right at steps'! oh ya, it was RIGHT there! I do love to see all the animals around, but them bears are getting a wee bit too close for comfort!
Dinner today will be veal cutlets, herb & butter noodles and peas, seems to be a regular meal on most Thursdays

Once again I am clueless but I thing I have a fresh salmon burger that I will grill this evening.

I have been searching on line for a baby Afghan pattern and a baby quilt pattern. My Grandaughter is expecting her first baby so I suspect all the gals in the family will be working on gifts for her.

I get turkeys coming down the hill from the woods behind me along with lots of dear. some fox, chickens, a horse across the street, ground hogs, woodchucks, more rabbits they you can believe and yes, we have black bears also. Now those scare me, and I report them as they are in town here and dangerous.

I will suggest that they are smelling your good aromas from your kitchen and hope you will share!!!

Lions tigers and BEARS OH MY !!!! That would scare me to death. We have creatures but NO bears. YIKES. We have Bob cats but rarely see them. I've only seen one my whole life.

We have wildlife near us too, especially if you get about a half mile or so away. Coyotes, raccoons, deer, bald eagles, hawks and there have been cougar, bobcat and bear sightings too.

It’s a beautiful day today, I’ve got the doors open and it’s just so nice out. I got the compression stockings I ordered from Amazon this morning and I have to say that they really make my legs feel so much better. Not much going on today, just doing the usual stuff around the house.

I’m having breakfast for dinner tonight, 2 egg pesto and cream cheese omelette and a couple slices of Turkey bacon.
