Streaming Peacock

Do any of you stream Peacock? Days of our Lives stopped airing on channel 2 and is going to streaming only. I bought a new Smart TV for it and now having trouble paying for the upgrade with a Visa gift card. I do not want to use my credit card and do not want to buy a reloadable Mastercard because the fees each month are more expensive then the actual cost of streaming

I just got Peacock because it was 20 dollars for the entire year. If you go to their website and order it from your computer you should be able to pay that way. I always find better deals from the companies website rather than ordering it directly from the TV.

Days of our lives, blast from the past. I didn't know that soap operas were still on TV. Used to watch them many years ago, there were so many of them. Stopped watching / even recording them when I went back to work. At first I missed the shows, but then I had so much to do when I got home from work, it all didn't matter anymore. Another World, General Hospital, Santa Barbara , that's all I remember.

How do you pay for it? I have a free account on the Peacock website and I try entering the Visa gift card number and it tells me it won't go through. I really hate entering my other CC information online and I don't want to go buy a re-loadable card...been there, done that and hated it. The monthly fees are just too much and it's a pain to cancel them

I've been watching Days since I was in HS and it's kind of like losing family members if I have to stop watching it. I'm not ready for that yet

I did pay with a regular credit card. I always pay with credit cards online. I never had any funny charges. Every time I use my debit card online though it sure as heck will come up with funny charges and get shut off.

I have had charges that I did not authorize on my credit card , but the good thing is that your bank can challenge that charge and you don't have to pay it. And usually the bank will cancel the card and send you a new card. No problem, never has caused problems for me. Debit card is so different , if someone has your debit card # they can wipe you out in a hurry. I always check my accounts a few times a week to make sure it all is ok. Basically I only use my debit card for groceries and gasoline, everything else , especially online , I use my credit card. Works for me.

I finally had to use my credit card and it instantly went through. I love streaming without all of the ads

It's comes included with our Xfinity. I did google to see if you can get it for free and found this. But if you want to watch without commercials, you have to upgrade.

There are free shows, but the one I wanted to watch isn't free. Now, I just have to learn how to use the remote and find the other shows I want. Darn remote is black and I have a hard time seeing the buttons

Can you get a different color remote for your TV or a they all black ?
Just want to add that you can also use your Android phone as a tv remote. Go on you tube and just follow the instruction for the set up. I am sure there also is a set up for I- phone.
I don't have an I- phone but basically my android phone does just about everything the I- phone does.
