    Good Morning!

Another sunny day with the high of 84 and the low of 66.

I have enough small amounts of leftovers in the fridge that need cleared out that dinner will be "diner's choice".

What will be your Sunday meal?

Mixture of heavy rain, wind and sunshine during the day. Next week we are supposed to have three days in a row of warm temperatures and no rain so that's something to look forward to.

Finally finished untangling the Cabbage Patch doll today. They should never have changed from yarn hair to so-call "corn silk" hair or maybe just put an 'adults only' tag on them. I have a new project ahead of me now... a yarn hair doll that had a scissor-wielding child as an owner. There's a few YouTube videos giving instructions for replacing the hair and I'm willing to rip her head off and give it a try.

We at the leftover chicken wings for dinner. Neither of us were very hungry

It's a heavy, overcast day, on warm side.
My grocery store has sirloin tip roasts on sale this week for $4.99 which is a steal....I picked up nice size one and popped it in the oven early to cook low and slow...smells soooo good right now! Sides will be mashed new potatoes, carrots and gravy.

It’s a beautiful day today, sunny, high 60’s to low 70’s, just perfect. I found out this morning that I don’t need to be concerned about Mendi being in the house all night, she has a litter box but prefers to go out. She hopped up on my bed, walked up my chest and head butted me to be let out. She really is nice to have around, she’s such a sweetheart. I’ve been doing laundry today, it will probably run into tomorrow. I made a quick run to QFC (owned by Kroger) and got a great sale on Progresso soup, $1.47 a can if you buy 8 or more, so I got 12. Stores around here are normally selling them for over $4 a can, and at that price they can just stay in the store. I also got 4 lbs of Italian sausage on a BOGO deal. They’re all in Food Saver vacuum bags and in the freezer. I’m definitely starting my stockpiling for winter, it’s nice not to have to go out in snow if I don’t need to. I personally have never driven in snow myself, but I imagine I’ll have to at some point now.

I’m making baked tilapia with tomatoes and olives tonight, one of my favorites. I’m making 2 pieces so I can have the other one in a couple of days. I’m going to make some baked brown rice to go with it.
