September 21st Dinner Post

Good Morning!

What started out as a rainy and dreary morning has turned into a sunny day with the high a humid 88 and the low of 59 with more rain expected late this afternoon.

Egg salad sandwiches, a salad and fruit will be our dinner.

Just had a little t-storm, hope it clears up as we are heading out to celebrate son-in-laws BD at the boathouse!
Dinner will be BBQ'd chicken on a bun and some salads. I made a dill pickle dip and others will bring apps too

Very HHH today. Tomorrow high in mid 60s YAY. Today is day one of 2 months without upper teeth. This oral surgeon is magic. 0 pain. Very weird tho.
I'm having cheesy potato soup. There's 1/2 of a chicken pot pie left Joe can have that next 2 days

I have veggie beef soup for my dinner this evening. Right now I am absolutely lazy. I am also waiting for a call from my daughter. She had a visit with the cardiologist this afternoon for some testing. Hopefully that ends on a positive note.

It’s been a very pretty day today. I got some necessary paperwork taken care of online and scheduled and then went down to the pharmacy at the grocery store and got my flu shot. I also bought a few items I needed as well with my 10% off coupon I got for getting the shot. I thought it would be a good idea to get it because my oldest son and grandson Joshua will be up here in a week or so to go through all Ken’s tools and take what they want and need. I only really need a very limited number of tools for use around home. I’ve got 2 six foot tall rollaways FULL of tools for them to go through.

Im going to make Egg Roll In A Bowl for dinner. I’ll post the recipe later.

I think it is a bit early for the yearly flu shot. You take it now and you may need another flu shot , lets just call it a booster, come January / February to cover you during the early part of the new year.
I would be more interested in getting the new covid variant injection , I don't call it vaccination, ,because it isn't a vaccination at all. But since that has only been tested on 8 mice, I think I will take a pass on that one.
But that is just my opinion, no need to respond at all.

I usually get my flu shots in September or early October. I thought it would be good to get it now because I’ll be having out of state houseguests around October 1st and I’ll be going to Southern CA for a week or more in November. I’m hesitant to get another COVID booster because of the blood clot scare I had a few weeks ago. The doctor’s recommendation was to not get any more of them for the time being.
